Christmas is coming and those that are a bit last-minute like me
may still be trying to find that perfect gift for your loved ones.
With our heightened awareness of the impact of plastics on the
environment, and indeed of the disposable nature of the culture we
live in, Christmas shopping can sometimes feel like it might be
doing more harm than good.
Last year I made concerted effort to try to at least buy some of
my gifts from places that give back to society. If you want to
support people doing excellent things for our communities then this

solve the world's problems overnight, but if you're going to buy a
big pile of presents this year why not support those trying to make
a difference at the same time? If nothing else I can guarantee
it'll make you feel warm inside when you're battling the elements
