The Active Inclusion Fund aims to help organisations improve the employability of disadvantaged people who need extra assistance to access the labour market.

It does this by offering supported employment placements, funded training opportunities and skills and confidence building activities, and is looking for new applicants.

A new Invitation to Apply (ITA) for a new round of funding went out on 6 November for organisations who have submitted an Eligibility Questionnaire (EQ) and are on the Approved Beneficiary List (ABL), and we are looking for organisations on the ABL to take advantage of this.

Does this sound like it could be your organisation?

There are four rounds:

West Wales & the Valleys  25+
West Wales & the Valleys Youth
East Wales 25+
East WalesYouth

This could be the last chance to apply for 9 month projects - we are hoping the fund will be extended, but nothing has been confirmed yet, so we would encourage any organisations that may have been sitting on a project to take this opportunity while they still can.

Organisations on the ABL should have had a notification to alert them of this latest round, but if you haven't, we advise you to log on to eTenderWales to make sure your contact details are up to date.

The closing date for round 6 is 14 December 2018.  Projects will run from April 2019 - December 2019.

If you are not already on the ABL there may be another chance to apply for funding, so submit an EQ by 1 January 2019 for future grant rounds.

For more information on the fund and how to apply, take a look at the Active Inclusion Fund webpages or contact a member of the team on activeinclusion@wcva.org.uk or ring us on 0300 111 0124.
